Rewire your brain
your brain is keeping you poor and you don’t even know it.
your brain is keeping you poor and you don’t even know it.
spent 22 years in the same small town watching the same people make the same mistakes.
including myself.
everyone talked about “making it big” but nobody ever left.
everyone had dreams but nobody changed their environment.
same friends.
same routines.
same limiting beliefs.
and I wondered why nothing ever changed.
then I read something that broke my brain.
“you can’t solve a problem from the same level of consciousness that created it.”
my environment was programming my brain for mediocrity.
surrounded by people who settled.
who made excuses.
who talked about opportunities but never took them.
and their limitations became my limitations.
because your brain is a pattern-matching machine.
it adapts to whatever environment you put it in.
if you’re surrounded by people making $40K a year…
your brain calibrates $40K as normal.
if everyone around you is struggling…
your brain accepts that as the standard.
if nobody has ever built anything significant…
your brain believes that’s impossible for you too.
this isn’t conscious.
it’s neurological.
your brain literally rewires itself based on repeated exposure.
creating neural pathways that reinforce your current reality.
but those same pathways become prisons.
I realized this at 23 when I finally left my hometown.
moved to a city where people actually built businesses.
where ambition wasn’t seen as arrogance.
where making 6 figures was baseline, not exceptional.
and something weird happened.
things that seemed impossible back home…
suddenly seemed achievable.
because I was surrounded by people doing them.
my reference points completely shifted.
my definition of “normal” expanded.
my beliefs about what was possible upgraded automatically.
not through willpower.
through environmental conditioning.
because your environment is stronger than your willpower.
it’s programming your subconscious 24/7.
most people try to change their results without changing their environment.
they read self-help books in the same bedroom.
they set goals while surrounded by the same negative people.
and wonder why nothing sticks.
it’s because they’re fighting their environment.
and the environment always wins.
your brain will always default to what feels familiar.
unless you consciously disrupt those patterns.
force your brain to create new pathways.
new reference points.
new definitions of normal.
moving away was the best decision I ever made.
not because there’s anything wrong with small towns.
but because my brain needed new data.
new examples of what was possible.
and once those new neural pathways formed…
everything changed.
my income tripled in 18 months.
not because I got smarter.
but because my brain recalibrated what was normal.
my confidence exploded.
because I was surrounded by people who expected confidence.
my standards raised across every area.
because my environment demanded higher standards.
this is brain rewiring in action.
consciously choosing inputs that upgrade your programming.
surrounding yourself with people who are where you want to be.
consuming content that expands your possibilities.
breaking patterns that keep you stuck.
most people will never do this.
they’ll stay comfortable.
stay familiar.
stay surrounded by the same limiting influences.
and wonder why their life never changes.
meanwhile, people who understand brain rewiring…
they’re constantly upgrading their environment.
their associations.
their inputs.
and their results reflect that.
because success isn’t just about working harder.
it’s about rewiring your brain to see bigger possibilities.
and that starts with changing your environment.
even if it’s uncomfortable.
even if it’s scary.
your brain will thank you later.
p.s. Just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone thats been subscribing to my newsletter.
